1. Cooking - cooking makes our food easier to break down and digest in the body, and increases the amount of nutrients we get.

As for the others, they fall into the same category of communications. Humans are natural communicators, which is why we are the top of the food chain despite our weak natural defenses. Art, music, and narrative are means of communication.
References :
Most of these are engaging because they not only provoke our senses, but our minds. Stories have been the way of moving "truth" from one generation to the next for untold millenia. Art and music may well function in the same way. We've been making a lot of art for the past 100,000 years or so, and music for at least 70,000. There is some evidence that chimpanzees in the wild have a sense of esthetics, and we've been cooking for nearly a half million years, so some questions of raw vs. cooked have probably been coming up for that long. As time and culture progressed, our sense of all the arts became increasingly intellectual and less about simply the portrayal of nature.
References :
Because we are made in the image of God. Creativity is our true nature. Other creatures don't have it. So the 2nd most powerful being after God is mankind, not satan. Satan can't create, only imitate.
