Joggers Park – 2003 Bollywood film made in English and Hindi. It is directed by Anant Balani and written by Subhash Ghai. It stars Bengali actor Victor Bannerjee, Perizaad Zorabian and Divya Dutta in lead roles. Synopsis: A retired judge and a young, beautiful and exuberant model form an inimitable friendship in Anant Balani’s tender relationship drama, Joggers Park. Beautiful locales of suburban Mumbai, good performances by the lead actors (Perizaad Zorabian & Victor Banerjee) and melodious music are the strength to this simple but ‘unusual’ love story.
Former Justice Chatterjees family is worried about how he will adjust following retirement, a concern that ultimately finds him spending his days in suburban Mumbai’s Joggers Park. Chatterjee makes friends with many people, including a vibrant young model and frequent jogger named Jenny.
As their meetings in Jogger’s Park becoming increasingly frequent, romantic feelings bring them to consider a relationship that many would view as socially unacceptable. At first, Jenny discourages his ‘infatuation’ but soon she too falls in love. I’m Asian and i watched my first Bollywood film today, it was rather cheesy and predictable, but it was interesting and different to watch, i would watch another one if i had nothing to do lol..
