London Dreams, an Bollywood musical film directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. Starring veteran actors Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in principal roles, the film also features Asin Thottumkal as the lead female character. Moreover Rannvijay Singh and Brinda Parekh play pivotal roles in the project, which will release on October 30, 2009. Initially A. R. Rahman was considered for composing the music for the film, but the idea didn’t materialize, so later the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio were finalised for the music direction.

London Dreams tells the story of two childhood friends who dream about making it big in the music industry. As they grow up, they work hard in hopes of turning their dream into a reality. “London Dreams” is the name of their band and Salman Khan-Ajay Devgan are the lead singers of the band. Asin, who is a dancer in the band, is the love interest of both friends.

Apna Sapna Money Money – 2006 Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, Produced under Subhash Ghai’s banner Mukta Arts, is a situational comedy starring a host of actors: Ritesh Deshmukh, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Riya Sen and Anupam Kher. “Chhalia” or “Chhaliya” is a 1960 Hindi film. Directed by Manmohan Desai it stars Raj Kapoor, Nutan, Pran, Rehman and Shobhna Samarth. Raj Kapoor plays his almost patented “simple guy with a heart of gold” role again in this film. Laxmikant Pyarelal were assistant music directors in this film. They would go on to be music directors for most of Manmohan Desai’s films. I am looking for a person to produce to the ammount of 1.2 milion US dollars in bollywood movie. The movie will be written and directed by me and will star some of the prominent stars from the Indian Film industry to ensure a great return on the box office. Answer back to get better details.

Wait, let me see….yeah, I have $1.2 million laying around. Count me in.

I’m new to the whole Bollywood scene. How come the sound is recorded in studio for most Bollywood films? I’ve looked on Wikipedia and it gives an explanation of the process, but not why.

I understand the musical numbers, but why the dialogue as well? Why can’t they just film on location?

Non-direct sound production, most of the time its because:

1. Somehow it speed up production. Because then you don’t have to worry for sound related problem (location noise, camera noise, generator noise, boom getting into the frame, etc).

2. Most bollywood movie (and some other countries though) is released in multiple (hindi and tamil) language anyway. So, at the end they will end up dubbing for the other language release.
So then to dub both language simultaneously.

At the end, its more about financial advantage.

After targetting fashion, celebrities, corportate world and dance bars, Madhur Bhandarkar now targets Bollywood in his next film
