I have the xbox 360 elite and want to store movies onto the 120gb hard drive – does anyone know exactly how i can do this – thanks.

You can only store movies downloaded from the video marketplace on the Xbox’s harddrive.

If you want to watch your own movies, just put them on a FAT formatted USB drive and plug it into any USB port of the console and watch it from there.

I have a 500GB USB drive hooked to my console with movies and music on it.

i don’t believe you can store movies from dvds. you can burn music cds only. you can rent movies from xbox live but they are only available to you for 24 hours.

You need a DVD Ripper software, which could rip your DVD to Xbox 360 video format.
I share Aiseesoft DVD Ripper, you could get it here

    There is a technical guide
