These are not in any particular order but My Beautiful Laundret was the first movie that made me feel good about being gay….and Daniel Day Lewis was way ahead of his time playing a gay character when it was neirher fashionable nor adviseable..

Have you seen “RENT …
Have you seen “RENT”? It’s a musical, but the movie doesn’t take place on a stage like some do. It’s just like a regular movie, where people randomly burst into song. There’s straight, gay, and lesbian couples. They all have their own songs too! Check it out!

Everyone should …
Everyone should watch Burnt Money!! (if you haven’t already) It’s my favourite gay movie ever. It’s all in spanish and has subtitles but that doesn’t take anything away from the film, and usually subtitles annoy the out of me, but i sort of forgot i was even reading them. It’s about two gay lovers (and criminals) who are hired by gangsters to hold up an armored truck but it goes wrong and they have to go on the run. It’s very good and unstereotypical. Also very very hot.

Definitely some …
Definitely some good movies. I also love Shelter, and it makes #1 on my list as well. I’m sure these have already been suggested, but if not I highly recommend them:
Defying Gravity
Maurice
Juste une question d’amour (French w/ english subtitles…this is probably my #2)
Shank (just watched this last night…its interesting, explores what its like for a gay teen in a gang, kinda violent at times)
