Ok, here’s how I see it: The acting in *THIS TRAILER* looks good, so it might have something going for it. Yeah it’s got the same old “oh I think he’s dead” scene where they get a cheap scare out of you, but it also seems to have a bit of psychological build-up moments to it as well. Truth is that Hollywood hasn’t made an honest to god scare-them-into-going-to-church-again film since the original Exorcist, but I’m always hopeful that something inventive and new will come along.

Right, but The …
Right, but The Crazies [original] was the basis for 28 Days Later. In The Crazies, they are obviously “crazy” and in 20 Days Later you aren’t so much crazy, but full of “rage”. I think this is why that movie always gets lumped in with the zombie genre, [the modern fast moving zombie genre].
But they aren’t zombies. They don’t eat living flesh, they just go ape and attack anything any way they can. I HOPE this remake isn’t a bucket of dicks. George Romero played some role in re-making this.
