Apna Sapna Money Money – 2006 Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, Produced under Subhash Ghai’s banner Mukta Arts, is a situational comedy starring a host of actors: Ritesh Deshmukh, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Riya Sen and Anupam Kher. Music composed by Prittam.
Synopsis: Money sets the world in motion. But the more you chase money, the harder it is to catch. Director Sangeeth Sivan’s movie ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ is one such tale of several characters in a mad race to be rich. The film is being described as an out-and-out comedy. One highlight of the film is the number of guises Ritesh Deshmukh dons in it. He dresses up as a buxom girl, a Kathak Dancer and a Nepali guard.

A young and brilliant son – Akshaye Khanna of on NRI businessmen – Amrish Puri, who comes to visit this place finds him self totally bewitched by the beauty of Mansi and falls in love with her and returns to Bombay after promising to marry her. The father and the daughter later go to Bombay to meet the boy and discuss about the marriage, but they are humiliated by his family members. They come across an owner of a music and entertainment company (Anil Kapoor) who has a strong affinity for the folk singers sngs and is enthralled by the beauty of the singers daughter. He promises to make Aishwarya a leading singer performer. As time passes by, Anil Kapoor falls in love with Aishwarya and they both decide to get married after a concert, but the girl realises that her heart yearns for her first love, Akshaye Khanna.
