A clip from an early TV Movie starring a young Tom Hanks, in which his fascination with Role-Playing Games leads him down the toboggan ride to insanity.
One thing you’ll notice here is that, while the material is the worst sort of sensationalist panic-mongering, Hanks is actually pretty damned good even in this early performance. He’s a great guy and this is not meant to make fun of him.
However, seeing a respected actor perform truly laughable material is always good for a chuckle. One viewing and you’ll quickly see that his Oscars for “Philadelphia” and “Forrest Gump” were just to make up for how this performance was shamefully overlooked.

Tom Hanks took a social significance role and hit the jackpot with it…We were not used to seeing Tom Hanks in such a serious role…But as we have seen with Robin Williams and so many other comic types, Serious is really what they do best! Philadelphia was an excellent film…you wouldnt want to se it every day but the once was an important trip.
A gay/HIV & AIDS themed movie. Starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington.
One of those best romantic comedies of all time..Certainly a favorite of this generation of movie fans…..Easy going hit making Tom Hanks in the lead as a everyman faced with some unique matters of the heart. He is that easy to talk to…Hanks means money at the box office too! at one point SEVEN 100 million dollar films back to back! Lately,he’s been doing a little more complicated work. It’s all good….
Night scene in Piaza Navona on June 13, 2008. Tom Hanks with background actors and two Polizia approach Piaza Navona and notice something ahead. The crowd was pretty big that night. I left around 11:30 after watching for several hours and they were filming multiple angles, etc. Exciting!!
