And waht about the Valeyard from Trial of a Time Lord who is one of the Doctor’s incarnations somewhere between his TWELFTH and FINAL incarnations? If the writers wanted they could easily get rid of the regeneration limit. After all it was only IMPLIED that Time Lords had regeneration limits. Or at least that’s what I’ve gathered from reading about. I could be wrong. But my point stands that the writers could EASILY get rid of the regen limit if they really wanted too.
